Hello guys !
I am trying to configure my NSX "collapsed" platform and meeting some problems, certenlly due to a miconfiguration from my side that's why I'll decribe what I want to set up and what I have as a platform
platform description :
01 vCenter
01 cluster with 3 hosts (esxi) hosting (NSX Manager, Transport Nodes, Edge Nodes & VMs)
01 NSX manager 3.2.2
VDS 7.0
02 Edge Nodes (in clustering)
01 x T0 Gw
3 x segments
Mnagemnt subnet = 172.23.0.0/16 ; vlan id 323
01 x IP range for Overlay.
Problem :
After configuring then first segment connected to T0-Gw the tunnels status are down ! could you help to solve and understand what's the problem please ?
I'll attach some screanshots to help understanding.
Thanks a lot
A single TEP network, with the Edge nodes on the hypervisors also being enabled for NSX and on the same network; either requires a redesign of the VDS or to configure inter TEP networking.
Have a look here https://www.lab2prod.com.au/2020/11/nsx-t-inter-tep.html
Thank you so, I'll visionase your presentation and read what you posted. Hopefully, be able to fix this issue.
I'll give you a feedback.
Thx
Hi,
the easiest way to resolve this issue in my designs is to first add the Transport Nodes to the Transport VLAN, then configuring a separate VLAN-Backed Segment on the Transport Zone. You can then use this VLAN backed segment as the overlay NIC on the Edge VM.
