Looking to setup NSX in my Lab

So far I have the product deployed and I can configured NSX Manager to talk to my 5.5 VC and it connected. But when I go to the web client I do not see the manager.

I am trying figure out the next steps.

Hello dcd270,

please check the networking settings are Ok, consider to do this standing on NSX Appliance VM, check also any erros during deployment, and consider to re-deploy NSX, sometimes, download again the appliance make it works.

Check if NSX Manager is reporting a healthy connection to VC in NSX Manager's UI (where you connect it to the VC). If it is (there's a green light and it says it synchronised with VC recently), then it's possible that the account you're using to log in into VC Web UI doesn't have permissions to access NSX.

To check this, use the same credentials you used to connect NSX to VC to log in into VC Web UI. If you can see NSX Manager, then add your "normal" user to the NSX: vCenter Home > Networking & Security > NSX Managers > [IP of manager] > Manage > Users

Keep in mind that to correctly connect NSX Manager to your VC, credentials you use to do that have to have Administrator role in VC. If you use SSO and configure Lookup Service, use credentials with SSO Admin rights.

This ended up being SSO issue. SSO is not passing the nesed group with in the vShpere Administrator group. (AKA Group from trusted domain nested in vCenter Administrators)

When I login with administrator@vsphere.local everything works great. Thank you all for your help.
