Hi team ,
NSX Version : 6.3.2
Vcenter : 6.0
Esxi 6,0
We are hosting about 60+ customers in our data-center . All of their NSX ESG are setup as X-large. I am running into issues where for some customers their NSX ESG which is X-large in Size is reaching 100 percent . Since VM's are system Managed , I cant increase CPU since option is greyed out .
How can i increase CPU of NSX ESG VM's ? Please help me out if anyone has workaround .

Hello T180985,
I already checked that article . That article is NSX 6.2.3 .. We are running NSX 6.3.2 where we dont get " reservation any more ". Please see screenshot .There is no option of "resource reservation " or any way to define CPU .
Please help me out .
Hi Tarun
Try to identify what is causing such CPU usage.
I had once similar situation when edge got hit by 100% cpu usage out of nowhere and it was caused by overload of the incoming network traffic from the internet:
1. There was rate limit on this particular network
2. This particular network got impacted by the ddos
3. Internet routers started to drop about 50% of incoming packets in order to stay within the rate limit
4. NSX Edge started to consume 100% CPU - it was busy trying to maintain TCP sessions, retransmitting dropped packets, and such
