I have very simple question but apparently VMware support was not able to provide clear answer.
We have NSX and a segment where we have dual stack configuration and within this segment we have some VM that has connectivity issues. As part of some troubleshooting, we want to ping VM from it's gateway.
Is there a CLI command to ping from ESX host where VM is hosted and use default gateway as a source of the ping? On Cisco devices this command would be ping 10.0.0.15 source 10.0.0.1 and same for IPv6 but with IPv6 addresses.
Traceflow is not a solution as it doesn't provide possibility to use default gateway as source IP.
