I Have three NSX EDGEs in condition "RPC request timeout"

The Three Edges are working fine, but i cannot update DFW rules, etc.

The "show messagebus messages" command shows:

"cmd conn state: closed"

Is there a way to restore comunication to NSX manager without restart/sync/re-depoly EDGES?

please provide version of NSX , this the edge uses Message bus or VIX ,

what version edges are running ?

• show messagebus forwarder
• show log follow
• show messagebus messages

    esxcli network ip connection list |grep 5671

We run NSX 6.2.7. EDGES are in 6.2.7.

SO the issue hire is between vsfwd agent on the ESXI and Edge VM.

can provide out put from the esxcli network ip connection list | grep 5671

check aslo /var/log/vsfwd.log.

and I'm just wondering if vmtools are running

nsxedge> show process list

and definitely you need to do force sync/ reboot the edge

I know, a resync is the answer, I was hoping for a sort of "reconnect" commmand...

well , it advice to do resync.

you can do reconnect , but root password on the Edge is needed,  where you can reboot demon.

the root password is not exposed to the end customers by now.
