How to check DFW is working as expected

How to tshoot DFW is working properly or not.



We are migrating VMs from NSX-V to NSX-T, for example VM1 is running in old env and VM2 is running in new environment, how we can check or tshoot VM1 is able to communicate with VM2 (vice-versa) and there is no issue with respect to DFW. please assist .

If you're talking about policies/rules under DFW and logs about traffic - vRLI can collect these logs so you can analyse them. And of course Traffic Analysis can be useful. If possible NSX Intelligence is another great tool for these observations.
