HW VTEP & Micro-Segmentation

Hi,

if I have a logical switch with couple VMs that also has a HW VTEP to extend that layer 2 segment into couple physical servers, I would be able to do Micro-Segmentation on the VMs attached to that logical switch? or because that logical switch has a HW VTEP, the DFW functionality is not allowed?

Hi,

As far as I know, Micro-segmentation on logical switch will continue working, but cant be extended to hardware vteps.

Micro-segmentation will continue to work irrespective we use hardware/software bridging.
