Guest Introspection shows High Latency figures in Solar Winds.

Hello.

How do I troubleshoot that? I see no alarms in vCenter.

The setup is

McAfee ePO 5.9.1 <--> McAfee MOVE AV 4.6.0.131 <--> Guest Introspection 6.4.1.8481357 (NSX 6.4.1.8599035) <--> vsepflt.sys (VMware tools 10277) on a ESXi 6.5 Host in a vCenter 6.5 U2.

See attached picture.

The datastore is on a 3PARdata FCoE Disk.

/Peter

I see spikes and it might be an average of sorts I see in Solar Winds so I do it identify the root cause for those spikes?

We're seeing real similar behavior. Our environment matches yours pretty close, except we use Trend Micro Deep Security. We're all the way up to NSX 6.4.3, which we were told would fix these recent GI issues, but, they remain. Our hope now is that 6.4.4 contains the needed fix(es). Unless some other workaround is found in the meantime.

Maybe. According to VMware is it a problem within vmware 6.5 that generates false spikes that according to the scale go into the Peta range yet the event is only measured for a few seconds. The GIs themselves don't seem to suffer from any latency.
