Guest Introspection goes 0% CPU after restart and no VMs on that Host gets MOVE Agentless NSX protection.

Hello.

I have no alarms to go by nor any indications other than VMs on that ESXi 6.5 Host do no longer get MOVE Agentless NSX protection.

I can see that the Guest Introspection VM does nothing after a restart and putting the host into Maintenance Mode and out again didn't change that.

I have 7 other hosts on which this works.

How do I troubleshoot that?

1. On which host version GI is working ?  As per your update issue is specific to 6.5 is that correct ? Or few of the 6.5 Host it is working and others are not working ?

2. When you migrate the VM's to another host- i hope they are in protected status ?

3. Are there any difference in Host version/build  comparing with a working host and non working host?

4. Do check VMware.log when VM's are residing on a non working host to know agent initialization is working fine and communication with SVM is healthy( basically it will show connected to svm kind of messages)

Looks like the MOVE AV VM was moved into a wrong folder in ePolicy Orchestrator. It seems to be working again after some time for syncronizing and updating.........

Hmm. I'll check again tomorrow.
