Export private/public key from an edge to another one ?

Hi,

I need to transfert a ssl VIP from a NSX platfrom to another one.

Is there a way to retreive the private key of the certificate.

I have tried with the GUI, the API and the CLI. The private key stays hidden.

With all due respect, there is a reason why its called "private"

What are you trying to accomplish? Why would you want to use the same key for both implementation?

You are obviously right on security aspect. Nevertheless, we can retrieve the private key on many platforms (F5, Microsoft, IHS, ...).

I don't know exactly what I want to do. Right now, it's only driven by individual curiosity.

Use case: The need to set up the same certificate on the LB VIP AND on the backend servers. (I can import the private key/certificate pair from the servers to the LB. Can I do it the other way around ?).

you can get it from NSX DB. which is closed for customer use , but VMware shared the key
