Edge cluster HA question

Hi everyone,

In a edge cluster,  edge nodes sends Keep alive to discover if other edge node is down.  are these keep alives messages sent out using MGT interfaces in edge nodes or  TEP interfaces?

From my understanding, it is sent over both to ensure there is always proper communication between the nodes.

We use Management and Overlay networks for the HA channel. Failover can trigger based on the following conditions 

1. The TEP interface Operational status is down

2. All the Tunnels are down

3. Edge is in Maintenance mode

4. All the Data plane path is down
