I'm working in a company (OnApp) that develops a product to manage cloud resources based on vCenter / vCloud Director. We are working on adding NSX-T functionality into our product and have faced the following problem:
NSX-T Manager or vCloud Director (we are not sure) run a task to sync Application Port Profiles (to sync its IDs) once a day) in vCloud Director.
Our product relies on Application Port Profiles IDs and they are changed every day by this task:
We have 2 vCloud Directors (they use 2 different NSX managers) and on first the task is run at 10:43 AM and on second at 11:43 AM. Example for the first one:
My question is: Is it possible to configure the time for Sync Application Port Profiles task. Where/How?
And if somebody can shed some light on why it is necessary to change the IDs would be great!
