DFW configuration diff

Hi,

Is there any good tool for displaying / figuring out the differences between saved DFW configurations?

I know that you can export the configs and do your own XML diff. Problem then is that you have to query for all the vCenter objects that are referenced.

I can load the saved configuration and look at it, but its very easy to miss some differences.

I envision something similar to loading the configurations side by side, and visually see added and removed rules in different colors.

When i have some spare moments, i will build something that will do the xml diff and then query the NSX manager and my vCenter for the referenced objects.

That could take some time, and i hate to reinvent the wheel.

It may be  possible to export dFW configurations to Excel with PowerNSX, so it may be easier to compare 2 Excel sheets  as sections are seperated like the default dFW rule on NSX Manager:

had any one tried to use Notepad++ for the configuration diff
