Add Node to vDS and Cluster with NSX

Hello,

We added a node to a vDS and collapsed cluster with NSX.

We automatically find that the NSX agents (Host preparation) are installed. Does this behavior normal.

NSX: 6.3.2

Vsphere: 6.5

Please advise,

Hello my friend,

Yes this is a normal behavior.

When you prepare a vSphere cluster for NSX, you prepare it on the "cluster" level and not on the ESXi "node" level.

This means that whenever you add a new node under that prepared cluster, it will be prepared automatically and the NSX VIBs will be pushed to that host.
