About NSX edge NAT

For NSX-v edge,do we support Bi-directional NAT feature,my customer want to translate source IP and destination IP at the same time.

In addition,my customer has another requirement,based policy NAT feature(Note:according destination IP,use different NAT rule,e.g.when user access outside destination_IP1,its source IP translate source_IP1,and when user access outside destination_IP2,its source IP translate source_IP2.)

Hi haozch,

The NAT functionality in NSX is pretty basic, unfortunately. I don't think you can do bi-directional NAT in a single rule. A separate SNAT and DNAT rule would be required for bidirectional purposes. As for policy based NAT, it could be possible to do some of the things you describe with regular SNAT/DNAT rules, but there is no intelligence behind them and you'd likely need several rules to achieve this.
