About Deploying NSX Manager

Hello.

At the time of deployment, NSX Manage says "Thick Provision" in the manual.

Is it OK to deploy NSX Manager with "Thin Provisioning"?

◆ Information when deploying NSX Manager

https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-NSX-for-vSphere/6.3/com.vmware.nsx.install.doc/GUID-CFB0DC96-C329-...

"9.Change the virtual disk format to Thick Provision, and select the destination datastore for the virtual machine configuration files and the virtual disks."

Preferred deployment option is always thick. However if this is POC/Test environment you can choose thin disk format.

Yes, you can deploy NSX Manager in thin provisioning mode if you have space constraint in datastore.

Yes, you can convert thin to thick provisioning but reverse is not possible "thick to thin"
