Hi all,
yesterday every thing worked fine
i wanted to migrate hosts from virtual switch to vds
Now nothing works
The problem is the esxi how nsx is .
the connection with this host fails
when i want configure IP settings with command line, i can't configure the gateway, the error is the network is unreachable.
then i can't connect to vcsa
i created a new switch but i have the same error
Please help me . is the work for my thesis and the dead line is near
Thank you
Have you checked VLAN configuration Up-links associated with VDS ? Restarts management agent on ESXI and then check you can access ESXI. Perhaps management network lost.
i i restart management agents
i have the same problem
ans if i remove vds ?
How much physical uplinks you have on single ESXI host ? You had to do this step by step.
Remove a single physical uplink from the VSS
Add the available physical uplink to the VDS
Migrate any host VMkernel ports and the vCenter Server VM to the VDS
Migrate the remaining physical upinks from the VSS to the VDS and optionally remove the old VSS
Attach snapshost image of VDS and VSS here.
I have 4 physical adapters
thw problem is i can ping the host but i can't connect it with web server client
and with cli i can't configure the gateway
Instead of vCenter, try to connect host from vsphere client. check the NIC configuration there then.
You can disable all nic, and enable one olso nic verify the mac addres is it deployed on the switch and after configure the mgt nic.
Thanks for all
i deleted nsx and restore esxi
