1 of 3 hosts not passing host prep

Small deployment – distributed firewalling, few rules and micro seg-mentation, 30 some vm’s, one cluster, no DLR – one flat network

-          2 out of 3 hosts prepared. However, host #3 is reluctant to prepare. Checked the VIB’s using CLI and no VIB’s are showing – zero

-          Found 443 not enable, re-enable that port on the host, still no joy

-          Reloaded NSX Manager numerous times along with a few bounces, still no joy

-          Didn’t get a chance to get into the logs – will do that first thing in the am

-          Any recommendations?

Check DNS & NTP.

For logs, check /var/log/esxupdate.log in ESXi host and eam.log in vCenter Server
