The purpose of the document is to provide Private Cloud architects with a list of best practices and design principles for successfully deploying OpenStack (VIO) on top of the VMware Software Defined Datacenter (SDDC), with both NSX-v and NSX-T. We also spent a lot of time documenting some consumption options for the OpenStack API and detailing some of the use cases for VIO. Documents like this are always work in progress, and our plan is to keep improving it over time.
