Sorry about question but these are my first steps using VIO.

can you install add-ons such as app-catalog-ui? how can be possible? I dont found information about that.

Hello! and thank you for trying out VIO.

This customization would fall outside of the list of items that we do allow modifications for within VIO.

I can forward your request to my product managers to see what they think.

By the way, the images from the OpenStack Application Catalog CAN be imported to glance if you provide their URL. I created a video about this on YouTube.
