Limit the VNC ports used from Horizon console

How do I limit the VNC ports used from or by the Horizon console? I've opened the default gdbserver ports on the compute cluster ESXi hosts and I've opened up 5900-5999 on the firewall to the hosts.  When accessing an instance console in a new VIO 3 deployment, I see it's trying to use port 6090.  How can I limit the ports used by Openstack to 5900-5999?

Hi Mike,

in the nova.conf file on the compute nodes, there are two parameters, vnc_port and a vnc_port_total, that regulate respectively the starting port and the total number of ports for vnc connections. Tweak those and let us know how it goes!
