If I create a new Image, deploy some Instances, delete the instances and delete the Image, there is still a VM in VCenter with the name: [imagename]-10G.
That's a shadow VM for that image, it's needed to store image properly. However, if you removed all instances & that image, this VM should get removed soon (although it doesn't get removed instantly, they have expiration time).
