Failed to create OpenStack deployment. No qualified ESXi host for placing nodes [VIO-RabbitMQ-0].

Hi all,

I have the following lab environment:

Management Cluster - 3 nodes each with 8vCPU and 43GB RAM

Compute cluster - same,

I don´t plan to use NSX right now, i just use DVS.

The compute cluster has a 576GB lun attached.

Getting the following error message while deployment:

Failed to create OpenStack deployment. No qualified ESXi host for placing nodes [VIO-RabbitMQ-0].

Thanks and Best Regards,

_Peter

Hi Peter,

We will deploy all openstack service VMs onto the management cluster. Please make sure you have enough storage on the management cluster. If you only have local datastores on the management cluster, please change "oms.include_local_datastores = true" inside /opt/vmware/vio/etc/omjs.properties, and restart oms service from the management server console: "sudo service oms restart"

Please let me know if you still have this issue.

Regards,

Jun
