Ceilometer Activation Failing... not enough space.

Hello,

When i try to enable Ceilometer i get this message :

Failed to execute Task Inner

Not enough storage space for [DEPLOYMENTNAME_VIO-MongoDB-0]. At least 552GB storage is required to place all the nodes.

We have more than 800Go free space on our Management Cluster Datastore.

I don't see anything into the VIO LOG.

Now, i can't add other compute cluster to our install because i get the same message.

Our management cluster is composed of dual socket server with  Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2665 0 @ 2.40GHz

Help needed.

Thanks Smiley Happy

Hello,

can you provide the following, please:

1) OMS.log

2) a screenshot regarding the distributed portgroups only?

Sometimes the error message refers to a missing distributed portgroup, during the deploying.

Cheers,

Domenico

Hello,

Thanks a lot for this answer.

We look into the oms.log and we see that the request don't found a portgroup.

The portgroup was renamed some week ago.

We rename the port group and the "not enough space" message disapear.!

Cédric.
