Hello IT Academy community,
With the launch of the vSphere 8 course labs by our partner NDG we now have all academic resources in place for institutions to migrate their courses from vSphere 7 to vSphere 8.
As such we can determine the exact end of life dates for the academic resources based on vSphere 7:
- Course content: all vSphere 7 courses will be removed from our portals (Kivuto, D2L, Gilmore) on the 1st of January 2024
- Exam: The VCP-DCV exam based on vSphere 7 will expire on the 31st of January 2024
- NDG Labs:
- End of vSphere 7 course labs purchase of access codes, bulk orders, and enrollment on November 31st 2023
- End of vSphere 7 course labs purchase of direct access and claiming of access codes on December 31st 2023
- EOL vSphere 7 course lab process starts on January 31st, 2024
- Final shut down of the vSphere 7 course labs on July 1st 2024
- Licenses and software: vSphere 7 will be removed from our academic resource offerings upon release of a new vSphere version.
Hope this information is helpful to plan your migration towards the vSphere 8 academic resources.
