Announcement: VMware vSphere: What's New [V6.7 to V7] on-demand course now available in the TTT zone

Hello IT Academy instructors,

To ease the transition from teaching vSphere 6.X to teaching vSphere 7.X, we have now a self paced course available in the instructor zone that focuses on the delta between 6.7 and 7: VMware vSphere: What's New [V6.7 to V7] on-demand

Equivalent to three days of training, this hands-on course explores the new features and enhancements in VMware vCenter Server® 7.0 and VMware ESXi™ 7.0. Real-world use-case deployment scenarios, hands-on lab exercises, and lectures teach you the skills that you need to effectively implement and configure VMware vSphere® 7.

More details about the course can be found here: https://store-us.vmware.com/vmware-vsphere-whats-new-v6-7-to-v7-on-demand-5425103300.html

Great! So how do I get access?

Here are the steps to get access as a VITA Instructor:

  1. Create an account on the VMware Learning portal (you'll need that account to get VMware certified): VMware Education
  2. Send us an email from your academic email domain:
    1. to request vSphere what's new 6.7 to 7 On Demand course access
    2. including your VMware Learning portal account email address
    3. The email can go to: itacademy@vmware.com

Do we have the materials to teach this course to our students as well?

Yes, you can find the teaching resources for this course in your institutions Kivuto portals under "Faculty/Staff" - "VMware" - "Teaching Resources"

Feel free to comment should there be questions,

Vincent
