SSL Error

Hello everyone!  I have a strange and frustrating problem which may not have anything to do with VMware, but we are at the point of grasping for straws.

We live in Mesquite NV, any my wife is starting a work-from-home job with AT&T.  We are in a new house and have a very fast fiber optic Internet connection with TDS.  The AT&T employee portal uses VMWare Horizon.  When she tries to connect with the VMWare Horizon client, it first says "connecting" then "authorizing" and then says "connection failed error: an SSL error has occurred"

Here is the kicker, if we connect via an AT&T hot spot on her cell phone, there is no problem.  Even stranger, our next door neighbor has the same fast fiber optic TDS Internet with identical TDS modem and router, and if we connect to their WiFi, we have no problem.

This scenario happens on multiple computers and a cell phone when we use VMWare Horizon, and the problem also occurs if we plug the computer directly into the TDS router using Ethernet.

We have spent hours on the phone with the AT&T technical support, and the TDS tech was out here yesterday and replaced their router.  Same problem, and the TDS tech spent hours on the phone with his higher-level support.  No solution, but they are still checking "things on the back end"

So, my question is has anyone encountered anything like this?  Is there some kind of VMWare Horizon test server we can try to connect to and see if the problem remains?

To me, it seems it has to be a problem with TDS.  Somehow our connection attempts are being treated differently through our TDS connection then through our neighbors TDS connection.

Thanks,

Dave
