Hi,
Rebooting Windows, remove and reinstall VMware Tools will help sometimes.
Thank you for your reply! But I tried all the methods, starting with disabling the Secure boot option, ending with reinstalling the Net framework and replacing the file openssl.exe . Nothing helps :((( In the beginning , I reinstalled VMware Tools to the latest version . It didn't help. Then I disabled the Secure Boot option in the VM settings. That didn't help either. Next I tried to replace the file Openssl.exe - it didn't help either. Reinstalled the packages VC_redist.x86.exe and VC_redist.x64.exe . It didn't help. The option remains to reinstall (MSIEXEC /REGSERVER). The Windows Modules installer and Windows installer services are active. But the same error is constantly in the log : vm_generation manager Keys.51F00CA1_B00D_4AA4_9CCF_22635D794138 returned actual error code 1603 . Failed to generate root key. Maybe there is still a problem with openssl.exe ?
As your post would sit better in the area for Horizon, I have reported it to the volunteer moderators.
