Finding an ancient VMWare Horizon Client

I have an old Horizon client 4.0.1.781 installed on a Windows Server 2021 R2 host.

Unfortunately, I can't uninstall the client unless "VMWare-Horizon-Client-x86_64-4.0.1-3698521.msi" exists in a local appdata folder.

The install dates back to 2017, and any copies we had of the software are long gone.

Any suggestions on

1) where I can download this version (tech support chat couldn't find it and suggested posting here)

2) how to remove the application manually (folders / reg removal / appdata etc)

Thanks in advance.

Thread reported so moderators know it should be moved to the area for Horizon.

Hello.

You may execute:

msiexec /x [HorizonClientProductCode]

whereas the product code is in the screenshot you have attached or you can get it from

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData

Unfortunately msiexec /x still requires the original installation files to remove the program.
