fusion 11.5.1 on macOS 10.15.2 not showing content of VMware Shared Folders and...

Hello,

i have the problem with the above configuration with VM macosSierra 12.6, that the content of the shared is not displayed

and that i cannot change the screen resolution. Only the resolution 1024x768 is displayed.

Does anyone have a solution for me ?

Hello Advatis. I had the same problem with old OS X/macOS guest VMs. The solution I found was to uninstall the VMWare Tools that come with Fusion 11.5.x and then manually install an older version of VMWare Tools, in my case versión 10.3.10

I have several old VMs with El Capitan (10.11.6) and when I upgraded Fusion to the latest version I had the same problem you describe. I tried going back with several versions of VMWare Tools until I found that version 10.3.10 did work. Other 10.3.x versions may work, but I was happy with this one, so I didn't try further.
