blackpearl, I appreciate that you post documents which may be of use to people, but you really have to do more than include one line of text with an attachment. For example, in this case you should say exactly what this program does (it's an .exe, so obviously isn't for cleaning up after Fusion) and that it's not an official VMware application.

Agreed.  If you took the time to write such a thing, which ostensibly has hundreds or thousands of lines of code- you would think that you could take the time to write a neat little summary of its capabilities and requirements; or even, dare I say- its PURPOSE?!

I find it somewhat disconcerting that nobody else has commented on whether they found it useful or not for cleaning up after VMWare uninstalls.  I, for one, have all sorts of registry entries and VM networking "leftovers" that I noticed were being complained about in my event logs after I decide to audit them.

At least Virustotal doesn't flag it as bad (malware, virus, adware, etc.) - although Virustotal is a bit of crap shoot even from a philosophical view.  You can only do so much with hashes since polymorphic code became a thing.  (imagine a slightly different version of a virus program for every single download sent out; you would just need to add an NOP (no operation) instruction to get a diff hash value.)

Well, I'll run it through Sandboxie after making a backup of my registry and my entire primary volume/partition to be safe.  If its some sort of bad news, at least I can report on it- since nobody else did lol.
