Since upgradng to 11.5.1 of Fusion on Mac, I'm unable to install VMWare Tools.
This is a clean VM done from scratch using the "Easy setup method"
By default, Windows XP enters Classic Theme only and there is no option for Windows XP Theme as before the update.
Can i point to windows xp theme using Gpedit, if even installed?
At least that would be one problem solved..
VMware tools error:
Tried empting %temp% folder, restarting Windows, and Disk cleanup, to no avail.

Fixed.// Problem was the 'Easy setup wizard" in VMWare when creating VM...
Did a new install of Windows XP without the easy setup and everything ok.... VMWare tools even installed
