windows 7 upgrade question

With the beta expiring soon I bought a copy of windows 7 and installed it to vmware. If I delete the old windows 7 beta OS will it delete any of the files I created on it? I use it pretty much only for autocad and I would hate to lose anything.

You need to backup an User Data on a Virtual Machine just as if it was a Physical Machine and if you delete the Virtual Machine without first ensuring that you have anything that is stored on the Virtual Machine also stored elsewhere so it can be retrieved and used elsewhere then you will be in trouble!
