When I play Dragon Age: Origins in my Windows 10 virtual machine the virtual machine crashes after some time. This is quite reproducable. The offending part, according to mksSandbox.log, seems to be
W003: MTLRenderer: Command buffer execution aborted: Internal Error (IOAF code 2067)

This Stackoverflow user seemed to hit exactly this problem as well, so it may be a bug in the virtual GPU layer (?). Unfortunately, I don't have support with vmware, so I can't open a ticket with them.
This seems to be an issue in the Metal driver on Intel GPUs.
We filed an "IOAF code 2067" bug to Apple with another game.
Not very sure whether/when Apple will fix it.
At this time, could you please try it again with MacOS 12 Monterey beta (or the GA/Release when it is out)?
The issue may not be fixed in MacOS 12, but it may provide more detailed information for such IOAD code 2067 issue.

Thank you for having a look! I'll have a look after the Montery release, I use this machine productively and don't want to update to a broken beta.
