The w11arm_esd2iso utility https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-Fusion-Documents/w11arm-esd2iso-a-utility-to-create-Windows... that I developed to address the need to easily create Windows 11 ARM installation ISO has been superseded by the built-in tool available in Fusion 13.5. It was a nice run while it lasted, and filled a gap to make WIndows 11 more usable on Fusion 13.
I have made the decision to start the retirement process for the utility as it has served its intended purpose. (if you were paying attention you can't say I didn't warn you...)
As of 2023-10-20:
- All development of w11arm_esd2iso has ceased.
- The 4.0.4 version posted will be final version.
- The utility offered as-is. Any requests for assistance on the utility will be politely referred to using Fusion 13.5 and its built-in tools.
- At some point before the end of 2023, the utility will be removed from the VMware Fusion Documents post.
- The utility will be moved to a GitHub location in a more generic form for posterity - in case others might want to use it or refer to it.
Thanks to all of you for your support and feedback that helped make the utility more useful to the broader community.
