I'm on a MacBook running vmware 2.08 and Mac OS 10.4.11 (Yes, I know it's old). Everything has always worked fine although I don't have a use for it over the summer. The last time I used it was probably in June or maybe July. Today I tried again. It starts, restores the guest OS (Windows XP) and says across the bottom, "To direct input to this virtual machine, click inside the window." Yet, clicking inside the window has no effect. External mouse will also move hand but clicks have no effect. The few things I can do with the Windows keyboard seem to work. Restarted everything several times with no change. Any idea what to do without loosing the data in the guest OS?
