vmware-vmx process consumes >20% CPU when XP vm is completely idle

Not sure why 1.1rc1 (61385) consumes so much CPU - this is a fresh windows XP installation with nothing running. The Windows task manager shows the system idle process at 99% and vmware service running at 1% or less.

PID COMMAND %CPU TIME #TH #PRTS #MREGS RPRVT RSHRD RSIZE VSIZE

297 vmware-vmx 22.3% 3:19.54 34 179 1096 9356K 7620K 657M+ 1019M

This isn't the end of the world but it does impact my battery time quite a bit... something to consider when booting up on the train.

Good point about disabling the 2nd virtual CPU. I'll try that. I really like having the 2nd CPU though - my macbook performs significantly better with the 2nd CPU enabled compared to the single CPU implementation in Parallels. Everything in vmware fusion (1.1rc1) runs faster than Parallels 5160. I'll try disabling the 2nd CPU in vmware and will post results later today.
