vmware server install problem

I am attempting to install VMware server on Kubuntu 6.04. Everything in the install went smoothly except for the very last step. This is the output from the shell window.

Please enter your 20-character serial number.

Type XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX or 'Enter' to cancel: 91461-YD565-27KFH-4T2AR

sh: /usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmware-vmx: not found

The serial number 91461-YD565-27KFH-4T2AR is invalid.

The serial key IS RIGHT. I was looking at the webpage at the same time as i was looking at the shell window. I tried typing, copying and pasting, getting new keys, even the key given by a customer support person on the phone gave the same message. This leads me to believe it is not truely a license inssue. Any ideas?

Below is the entire output.

ty@ty-laptop:/usr/bin$ sudo vmware-config.pl

You have already setup networking.

Wrong forum - this is for Fusion, not Server.

I'm going to guess that "sh: /usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmware-vmx: not found" is the problem. What's the output of `ls /usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmware*`?
