Hello
I just let vmware Fusion update to the latest version (7.1.2). I dont recall noticing before, but I am now getting upon OSX shutdown/restart the dreaded "vmware Fusion canceled shutdown" message, and having to click ok then shutdown/restart again.
The open VM itself is set to suspend and does so in about 2 seconds.
Any ideas?! Is this a known bug? Again?
Can you see the process 'vmware-vmx' running when this happens?
I would have no idea where to look.
I would imagine if that is required for a VM to run then yes it is, as the message pops up immediately before VMware has had chance to suspend the VM (which takes about 3 seconds.
I would have no idea where to look.
The next time you encounter this problem, you could open the application 'Activity Monitor' (Applications -> Utilities)on your Mac OS, and select "All Processes" in View menu, then type 'vmware-vmx' in the filter box.
