upgrade from VMware 13 Player to VMware 13 pro

I have been using VMware 13 player for testing purposes (to see if it is useful for us to professional using). Now I would like to upgrade from VMware 13 Player to VMware 13 pro. To do it I have to buy a pro license but what next ? Upgrade to pro means only to input license pro key, or rather I would have to reinstall VMware (ie over install pro) ? Is there any instructions? Many thanks in advance

There is nothing to do other than install the Fusion Pro license. The application remains the same; the license unlocks the Pro features.

To apply the license, go to the Fusion menu bar, and select VMware Fusion. If you're running Fusion Player (either paid license or personal use license) you'll then see this:

Select the "License..." option, and then you'll see a dialog with the current license. Simply input the new Pro license replacing the Player license and you're good to go.

If you are running the 30 day evaluation, the VMware Fusion menu option may be slightly different, but there should be an area on the next dialog to input your new license.
