shot in the dark: NBA Live 08

OK, I know games can be tricky. I got this game for my kids for Christmas, and booting into Bootcamp will work for now I suppose, but I would sure love to find a way to get it to work in Fusion. When it launches in Fusion I get some windows error. Not sure what it means. I tried the 'more details' and all I could see was some sort of exception. Hmm. As I say it seems to run fine in Bootcamp.

Anyway, just thought I'd ask and see if anybody had gotten it to work, or had some thoughts on what it might be?

What version of Fusion? Is 3D acceleration enabled? What level of DirectX does the game require?

it is required DirectX 9.0c-compatible video card

Currently VMware Fusion support DirectX 9.0 not (9.0c, etc), it would not currently be expected to work.

Ah, thanks. I didn't notice the distinction between 9.0 and 9.0c. Is that something major? Or might Fusion be able to support that in the future you think?

I'm using the latest Fusion and 3D acceleration is enabled.
