recommended settings for xp use on imac

i recently started using vmware fusion

I was just wondering if anyone has similar specs to me.

Imac

8GB Ram

i7 CPU

could anyone give me recommendations as to what i should use in terms of memory allocation when running xp on vmware fusion

Also I am able to specify the amount of cores to allocate.

XP usually runs fastest with 512 MB - 1024 MB and a single vCPU.

Don't assign more RAM unless your apps inside the XP really need more
