re: admin password

hi,

i recently installed the vmware fusion on my mac. installed xp pro fine. i was watching the entire installation process everything was ok.

however i went away for a minute and when i came back i saw that it had automatically logged into xp pro and then restarted and know i have a administrator login account using the classic interface for the login.

does anyone know the default password used?

i realized the password for the administrator login is the password entered at the wizard when configuring the easy install settings when you want to create a virtual machine.

Your admin password/account should use the information you entered during the easy install wizard.

So what would cause it to reject for me with Vista 64?

"the user name or password is incorrect."

It put the name there, it did one restart during install and setup.

rather frustrating - it is even written and pasted to one monitor!
