dear community,
i am running vista enterprise 64 on my mbp using fusion 3.1.3 (416484).
the physical ethernet adapter of my mbp is a Marvell Yukon Gigabit Adapter 88E8055 Singleport Copper SA. fusion maps this to virtual adapter "Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Network Connection" (as seen in .vmx file: e1000). the windows device manager reports intel driver version 8.1.50.0 which is deemed the latest by the system.
basic ethernet works fine, even cisco style ethernet (via shrew vpn) does.
however, switching to microsoft vpn (whatever that means) using smartcard authentication (via a scm scr3310 usb smart card reader) results in a fantastic blue screen of death: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in component E1G6032E.SYS.
bridged/nat ethernet mode makes no difference.
any ideas?
