"VMware Fusion cannot connect to the virtual machine."

Hi all.

I did a fresh Mac OS install, and now Fusion won't launch my VMs from the new partition. The VMs reside on a non-bootable partition.

I have read/write access to the VM file and its parent directory, but the error dialog also says to make sure I have rights to temp files. But where are these?

Neither suspended nor shut-down VMs will launch.

Thanks for any info.

Have you tried the suggestions in for this error?
