"File not found" Problem Installing VMware Fusion 7 Pro

Hey guys I recently bought VMware fusion 7 Pro and I completed the configuration but then VM said "File not found". I already have VMware Fusion 6 installed and I want to open my windows 7 account in VMware Fusion 7 and then VM said that the file wasn't found. Do you guys also have this problem and how can I solve this? Thnx a lot!

Hi psefadfa,

Thx for using Fusion.

Maybe your problem is similar to this thread: Tried to download Vmware Fusion 7 onto MacBook Pro "File not found"

Could you pls try to launch Fusion, and open Fusion Library by right clicking Fusion icon, and choose "Virtual Machine Library", and then check whether your VM in the list in Library window?

And try to open the VM by double click the VM item in library window.

Had this issue on VMware Fusion 8 Pro as well.  Thanks for sharing @jcui0122 !  Deleted a reference to an old vm and that solved my problem.
