openSUSE 10.2 full screen display menu doesn't disappear

After installing the vmware tools on a guest opensuse 10.2 vm, when I go full screen, the top vmware menu bar and "Press Control-~-S to exit full screen." menu stay stuck on the screen. I've tried changing the display resolution by reinstalling the vmware tools, and multiple reboots. Has anyone ever seen this before? Any help would be appreciated.

A few others have seen this, but it's not clear why/when this happens. The message is supposed to fade out.

Thanks for the link. Yeah, this looks like the same thing. I rebooted my macbook pro, and now the menu disappears as it should. I guess it's one of those quircky things that can happen in linux guests. I definitely had to do some hacking to get both opensuse and fedora to run with vmtools. I can live with it. Thanks again!
