I am having issues with wmware in boot camp opening items in windows xp from my mac side, If i just click a file to open, nothing happens, I must click on open with and select open with boot camp partion 2, why does it automatically select the partition that will not open it?

Welcome to the forums. What type of files are you trying to open? Have you changed the "Open with" option under "Get Info", and applied it to all of that file type?

That seems to have worked. Do you know why boot camp partition and boot camp partition 2 would show up when open with is selected in finder? How would I delete the unnecessary one?
