i have an image and am trying to install from the cdr but keep running into the no bootable device error message
You can try by creatin an ISO image of the Installer Disk and check
".cdr" can have a couple of properties, only one of which we can currently read (DVD/CD master, no encryption) - if you picked anything else while creating it (e.g. compression or encryption), it won't work.
thanks for your help - it turned out that my problem was with the media - it wasnt bootable afterall. installed an iso instead.
