no Unity or Full Screen on Cinema Display

I just got a cinema display to add to my 1600x1200 monitor.

Now whenever I try to go into Unity or Full Screen mode with the 1.1.3

v of VMWare Fusion, the window goes away, but nothing ever comes back -

no unified apps, no single full screen.

When i disconnect the cinema display and go back to a smaller display, it works fine.

Help?!

I have exactly the same issue on a new 30" Apple display. Select Unity, VM Window vanishes. If I was in "Single Window" before, that menu item is still grayed out. Selecting Unity again does nothing of course, so I have to switch to full screen. That results in a black display with just a handful of areas actually painted (for example, just the button or text area the mouse is over). Now I can select "Single Window" again and all is well.

Vista.

Uninstalled VMWare tools, rebooted, re-installed the tools, rebooted. No change in behavior.

VMWare 1.1.3.

Lid on MBP is closed, so the 30" display is the only display.

I upgrade VMWare, and re-installed the VMWare tools, and it fixed the

problem.

That sounds strange, I would try uninstalling Fusion, rebooting the Mac, and installing Fusion to give things a kick.
